We love to turn plans into reality – drawers gliding in and out, elegant doors, oodles of storage space and miles of work benches. Bins, racks, spice inserts, display cabinets, gleaming appliances etc etc all waiting for you to explore and enjoy. A large portion of your budget is spent here so you need to be very sure of who builds and installs your cabinets.

If you are thinking of stone or any solid surface for your counter tops then you need to involve a fabricator. They will work from the templates to fabricate your benchtops.

Again quite a bit of the budget ends up here so ……….

Other trades which could be involved in your kitchen renovation are – electricians, plumbers, plasterers, glaziers, tilers, builders and engineers, painters, etc etc

Now all these people need to come into your home, complete their part of the work and leave the area neat and tidy for the next tradesperson. Some of the tradespeople like the plumber and electrician may need to make up to 4 visits before their work is complete. Wow! you really need to be sure you can rely on them.

Trying to self manage the renovation really does not work effectively – a renovation needs team work where there is a schedule and everyone works to it.
